Dear Friends and Neighbors,

We live in the Greatest Nation on the planet, and since Republican Leadership has been running things in Indiana we are the envy of our neighboring States. Not to mention that here in Hamilton County we have the #1 and #2 places to live in the entire Country. WOW!

Ann and I moved to Fishers in 1990 after a promotion brought us here from Fort Wayne. We raised our 7 children here, and out of the spouses and 22 grandchildren, 29 of the NIX Party of 38 all live in Fishers, Carmel, and Noblesville, which is why I have an interest in maintaining the high standards for District 32 at the Statehouse. Our family is definitely a part of the thriving economy of our County and State: working, buying homes, cars, paying taxes, and more.

That high praise is deserved, but I think some real reform is needed regarding Property Taxes, not a $300 credit that disappears from local increases. The Legislature did well in eliminating Property Taxes for Disabled Veterans, and our State Constitution allows other exemptions that we need to consider. House Bill 1288 actually proposes eliminating Property Taxes and replacing them with a 7% tax on services. The State Legislative Accounting Department has suggested this would generate 3 to 5 Billion more in revenue, so everything gets funded with reserves. This deserves a hard look!

Where Paul Stands

We live in the greatest nation on the face of the earth, and Indiana is fiscally sound: a balanced budget, fully funded pensions, and great schools. But two things need immediate attention: Hoosiers being put out of homes they own, and Indiana leading the nation in mortgage foreclosures. Property taxes are the culprit in both. Every position here is one Paul will fight for in the Statehouse.

Top Priority

Nix the Property Tax

No Hoosier should ever be evicted from a home they own because they cannot pay the property taxes. And Indiana should not be leading the nation in mortgage foreclosures. Property taxes are the culprit in both. Paul Nix will fight to cut Indiana's property taxes so the home you worked your whole life to pay for stays yours.

Fiscal Responsibility

Indiana runs a balanced budget, and Paul intends to keep it that way. He will guard taxpayer dollars, hold the line on spending, and find real savings in programs like Medicaid and Medicare without cutting the quality of care Hoosiers depend on.

Parental Rights in Education

Parents, not the government, should have the final say in what their children are taught. Paul opposes CRT, DEI, and gender ideology in Indiana schools, and opposes letting male athletes compete in girls' sports.

Constitutional Rights

Paul defends Indiana's Constitutional Carry law and believes state government should never interfere with the rights the Constitution guarantees: the free exercise of religion, peaceable assembly, and free speech.

Legal Immigration

Paul supports legal immigration 100 percent.

Protecting the Unborn

Paul opposes taxpayer funding of abortion and believes Indiana can and should do more to protect the unborn and support families.
